I wish sometimes, that life would offer an opportunity that is not in disguise.
I can’t remember who said it, but I love it. How often have you felt that you can relate to it? Such was the case when I took a week-long road trip last month.
Things didn’t go as planned. Even the things I did because of the failed plans didn’t work out as expected and I felt somewhat frustrated when I reurned from my trip. It had put a damper on my enthusiasm.
Then, yesterday, I read a post …

As most of you probably know, I went on a road trip back in July. The intent was to climb the Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas. I didn’t make it to the top.

The bus was passing through a canyon, and the “walls” were so close, it …

Later on today, or I should say early tomorrow morning, I would be on board a Greyhound bus heading towards El Paso, Texas. The plan is to rent a car in El Paso and drive to Guadalupe National Park where I would climb the Guadalupe Peak, the highest point in Texas. The park is located in a very remote area.
I figure I’d get to the park late Monday evening and after studying the maps and familiarizing myself with the area, I would call it a night and get some rest. …
