It is kind of a timeless sense, and general appreciation for life, how things are developing, and gratitude through observation. I think I find a settling point when I am in nature because nothing needs to be done with it. I don't need to move leaves, clear paths, or change anything. I just have to move slowly, appreciate what is, and feel happy. I'm trying to incorporate this philosophy in the rest of my life, and become more aligned with moving gracefully through life, appreciating the contrast, and letting go of having to fix or change anything and generally being happy - just for the sake of being happy. .-= Brooke Ferguson“s last [post] ..Interview with Cath Duncan, Mine Your Resources =-. I am getting better at being comfortable writing more often. I believe learning to type without looking at my keyboard is the growth I am tackling right now, and the more I practice the better I will get. So, I am looking forward to doing just that. Thanks for all your support. Yes, it is the Indian upbringing of nature and peace that comes across in my writing. I find peace when I am in tune with God, as reflected through His creation. I love places that has running water - rivers, creeks, waterfalls etc. There is something soothing about the sound of running water. I suppose it is the consolation that life flows on despite obstacles. Only time running water makes any sound is when it is overcoming an obstacle in its way. Thank you, Deb, for the kind words.
