This marks the completion of the first week when I disciplined myself to my commitment, and did what I said I would do. I am happy to report that it didn’t kill me. {:-)
Let’s see, where do I begin? Well, the car is still sitting out back and the insurance company is not very eager to part with their money. duh! So, we are still relying on the rental car. Balloon business has been good, somewhat better than usual and I learned more about being receptive to what you ask for. So often we deny ourselves our good, because we are too impatient, or don’t feel worthy of what we’ve asked for. All we really need to do is hang on and accept our self worth.
Learned the value of leverage, and finally hired three artists (balloon twisters and face painters) to work an event that I was invited to work at and was asked to find them others. I shall make an additional $250 just for finding work for other artists and facilitating a business that didn’t know where to find them. I like this. (Note to self: Time to work on the Houston Entertainment Network website.)
Did some worthwhile reading.

This is an excellent post! I love the quote at the beginning. No more manual labour for me. I agree, the rich are thinkers and come up with great ideas to work less and make more. We are finding the blog a lot of work, but then again, we travel full time and only spend a couple of days a week really working and catching up. In time, we may even work less…but I think that might be a long way off. good luck with your goals! and thanks for mentioning our post:)
