Imagine this.
There is a swimming marathon and thousands upon thousands of people are competing, maybe hundreds of thousands or even millions. You are among those swimmers competing as well.
Imagine, that the gun goes off and the mob starts to swim towards the finish line. Pushing and shoving and stroking through the channel, everyone is headed to win the race.
Now, imagine, that you won the race and you are holding the trophy. How does it feel?
Okay. Back to reality.
What if, I was to tell you that such a race actually took place, and you actually won that race? Would you feel the same exhilaration?
When a man and a woman mates, there are billions of sperm cells that are racing down the channel to attach themselves to the trophy, the fertile egg. Had you not won that race that night, or that day, you wouldn’t be reading this right now. You had to have won that race to come into existence. You were born a winner.
But, before you were even born, Mother Nature went to work to assure your success. Sometime during the fifth month of pregnancy, your mother started producing milk. The universe was preparing the ultimate designer food to insure that not only will you survive, but thrive as well.
Everything that has happened since then, has brought you to where you are today, and if you look back, you’ll realize that everything you needed to be where you are was there when and as you needed it. You can also rest assured, that whatever you’ll need in the future will be there as and when you need it.

It was raining last night, as I drove from Houston to Austin, TX to attend the book signing and get a copy of Crush It! signed by Gary Vaynerchuk. At one point, as I negotiated a curve, my car went into a slide and I started praying. Just as I embraced myself to hit the railing, I surrendered to the knowing that I will be OK. My car suddenly swerved in the opposite direction and as I thought I was going to hit the median wall, it spun a couple of time and stopped facing the oncoming traffic. But, there was no oncoming traffic, during the rush hour.
As I turned my car around and headed in the right direction, expressing my gratitude in disbelief, a voice from within said, “Rasheed, you cannot possibly do anything wrong.”
It was a reassurance from within, that I am on the right track, and so long as I am willing to surrender to my purpose in life and follow my passion, I am well protected and everything I need will be there when I need it. Even if it means to have a busy highway with no cars on it.
Success is inevitable, if you are willing to surrender to your destiny.

That is awesome… you are living the life!
I agree with you here. We are all born winners but unfortunately, we prefer to live like losers. Unless we realize our true self and capabilities we cannot live the life that we are suppose to live.

I never thought of it that way, we won as soon as we began. And what a great comparison. I do find that life has a way of working out when you surrender. I am glad that you are safe and sound after your near car accident.
