Thanks for including my post in the list!

This “Keeping Google Out of Libraries” is an interesting read. Nevertheless I still fully support what Google is doing. While I agree that no one company (and preferably, no company) should be the “de facto librarian” of the world, Google’s willingness to adopt and/or create open standards keeps me from being too worried.

      JD,

You’re welcome. You keep writing good posts and I won’t have any problem including them, though one of my goals is to introduce people to new blogs and expand the community interaction, as I find more blog posts worthy of inclusion, it will get tougher for me to choose. Either that, or make the list longer, and that may not be the best strategy.

Thanks for your comments, buddy. I see your point about Google, and you may be right. My goal was to simply share. I have no opinion at this time, one way or other.

      Daniel,

      Welcome to Present Day Nomads.

I am learning a lot from the pros, and I figured I’d help out by sharing it with others, rather than regurgatating it under my name

    Hi Rasheed,

Thanks for featuring me here in your weekly round up. That video was incredible, wasn’t it? It really touched me as well, and I’ve watched it quite a few times since I posted that.
    :)
